Brent Mason

Tell me he isn't the bomb.

(Brent Mason...not Vince Gill.)

3 A.M in H-Town

So, tonight, Clay and Daniel take us to some rinky-dink general store in Leona, Texas for "Man Night." This place has been rated "Best Steaks in Texas" for the last couple of years. And I totally saw why. That was the greatest cut of meat I have ever had in my life! 16 ounces of juicy, beef goodness. And from what the rest of the guys said, the dessert was just as ballin'. Add in the people we ran off and a random, old man baggin' on Clay, and there is one my top meals ever.

Also, after getting back to the church and playing some roller-dodgeball, we got some really great news. A very active member of our church, Cindy Ramsey, got the long awaited news that she would be recieving a 2 lung transplant. So, Clay, Daniel, Jake, and myself loaded up and headed down to Houston to support Cindy and her son, (and fellow youth member) Wayne. So, that's exactly where I'm at right now. Sitting in the hall of the Methodist Hospital in Houston. Make sure to keep Cindy and her family in your prayers, as she is an amazing woman and a very large part of our church family!

Worst Fight Scene EVER.

Random, yes, but I seriously thought I was going to crap on myself laughing. Wow.

In other news, I'm buying a mandolin. Which makes me depressed because it is going to end up running me upwards of 500 bucks. Ouch.

Also, I read some more in my book, "I Sold My Soul on eBay." It really has some good insight on a non-Christian's point of view. The author brings up some good points about problems within the Christian religion and the non-toleration of atheists. I'll try to keep you updated as I continue reading it.

I think this is the first book I've read in about 7 years. (Other than a guitar book here and there.)

Here we go again...

So I'm taking another stab at the whole blogging thing.

I seem to have a good bit of stuff I need to get off my chest, so I think this is the way to go. Hopefully, I will be able to continue updating this one compared to the last disaster. This is going to kind of be my place to throw down thoughts, questions, and comments I have about whatever crap is going through my head at the time. So, if you plan on becoming a regular reader, get ready. You are in for a ride.
